Saturday Torah Study takes place each Shabbat from 9 am - 10 am, before services. At this session we study the parashat for the week. These sessions are led by our Rabbi, as well as by other lay leaders. These sessions are both in-person and on Zoom.
There is a second Torah study session on Sundays from 11:00 am - 12:30pm. This Torah study session serves as a continuation of the session from Shabbat the day before, focusing on particular questions of interest to the Sunday participants. This study group also recently decided to start reading the Book of Joshua together, using the last half hour of our Sunday session to do so. This Sunday session is lay-led, and attendance at the session on Shabbat prior is not required. The Sunday session takes place virtually in the Synagogue’s main Zoom room.
