Polarity Fall 2019 Showcase Interest Form

We're so excited to see your interest in our second semi-annual pole showcase on Saturday, October 19th! Please fill out the form below indicating contact information, performer name(s) and possible performance style. Note, this form is not a commitment nor performance guarantee, all information can be changed prior to creation of the final program.

Registration fee of $40 payable via Venmo to @Jessie-Lipkowitz must be made by September 8th to confirm participation in showcase. Registration fee guarantees performers a professionally edited video of own performance and six open rehearsal sessions (9/14, 9/21, 10/12 + three additional sessions TBD dependent on instructor availability).

Performances will be added to the drafted program based on number of performance interests, variety of styles and levels, etc. Please fill out the form once for each piece. Any questions please direct to Joan at levleitj@gmail.com. We can't wait to put on another amazing show!

Performance Style

To get an idea of what pieces we will present in our showcase please indicate a style in which your performance is most appropriate. Performance styles are based on categories set by the Pole Sport Organization, however if you feel your performance falls outside of these categories please write your idea under "other"! All is fair game!

Championship: traditional technical program

Dramatic: focus less on tricks executed, more on ability to present a serious, emotinal artistic interpretation of music.

Entertainment: focus less on tricks executed, more on ability to present a thematic, comical or upbeat performance

Exotic: celebrates sensual movements and concepts
