Education Program Volunteer
Through conversations and hands-on activities, program volunteers help visitors make meaningful connections to our exhibits, encourage curiosity and scientific inquiry, and challenge visitors to dive deeper into the concepts explored at our museum.

Nature Explore Volunteer

This position is similar to a program volunteer. This role takes place primarily outside in our Nature Explore certified playground. Volunteers in this role lead interactive activities, create a welcoming environment for children and caregivers, and communicate basic science concepts in a fun, appropriate, and engaging way.

Public Program Day Volunteer

Interested in volunteering with us but not able to commit to a longer-term position? Join us for one-time events or public school vacation weeks, and engage visitors in hands-on science activities.
