Why this survey exists....

I've got a friend who practices martial arts, and one of their favorite sayings is "minimum effort, maximum result". I guess it's something her teacher really drills into them as they are flinging each other across the room. A good rule of thumb, all things considered.

Before we go any further, while you're welcome to reach out to me for microdosing coaching, you are not welcome to reach out to me for microdoses, or any other illegal substances. I don't have them. Glad we got that out of the way.

And it's a phrase that popped into my head as I have been considering some of the reports that I've been getting back from some of my clients who have been microdosing.

Clients have been reporting insights that are so simple, pure and innocent, and are also producing such nice results for them. In so many ways, it's back to the basics.

Here are some of the realizations and adjustments clients have shared:

  1. Microdosing reminded me to wear socks! Sometimes, I had been neglecting to wear socks when working from home. My feet were getting cold, which was making me irritable and less productive. I just didn't realize this had been going on for months, maybe years, until I started microdosing. I invested in some fresh warm socks, and it's a whole new me.
  2. I didn't realize how dehydrated I was. I'm drinking so much more water now and my body is thrilled.
  3. Something about binge watching Netflix past midnight has lost its allure for me!
  4. Two members of my family were arguing about something stupid, and instead of jumping into their mess, I just calmly watched it play out.
  5. I'm not eating so much when I'm not hungry. I can see the emotions that are moving me towards food, and they aren't as overwhelming as they used to be.

I know it's only anecdotal, but it's more than a little compelling.

I'd like to see who else has had experiences like this.

Thanks for your participation,

Daniel Shankin
