Are you passionate about your course, executive position within a society, or summer internship? Would you like to help others by sharing your topics on mindfulness or rocking those internship interviews? Or do you feel strongly about topics surrounding female empowerment, sexism and female leadership? Then we are looking for you and your voice!
Warwick Women's Career Magazine is recruiting writers and we could use your help! Everyone, no matter what course, year or gender, can sign up to become a WWCS writer as we are looking to incorporate different perspectives, experiences and views in this second edition! If you are interested in getting involved and writing an article (either long or short) for our magazine, please complete this form and we will be in touch!
We are looking for pieces for our empowerment, careers, future opportunities and commercial awareness section but please do not feel limited by these sections. To allow for more creative freedom we have included a new Conversation Starters' section, which will for example include pieces written by two authors with different perspectives (for example male and female) on the same topic. Moreover, we have included an Other's section to accommodate any idea you're passionate about that do not necessarily fit within the other sections. If you sign up for the Other section we do ask you to specificy your idea as it will need to fit broadly within our magazine!
The style of writing is informal (as in our last edition) and we are interested in both long and short pieces (minimum of 200 words; maximum of 1,5/2 pages). You do not need any prior journalism skills as we are aiming to keep this magazine quite an informal and relatable style for our members to read!
If you have any questions, suggestions or ideas for our magazine, feel free to get in touch with us:
