WAC Dialogue Series - Culturally Relevant and Anti-racist Approaches to Teaching Writing - Registration
Gholdy Muhammad's book, Cultivating Genius: An Equity Framework for Culturally and Historically Responsive Teaching, has become an important resource for K-12 teachers across the country. This Dialogue Series will explore how we, as post-secondary educators, might also understand and apply the framework offered in this important book. What might we--as scholars and teachers in our varied disciplines--take from this framework for our own work?

In four virtual dialogue sessions, we will read, write, talk, and create action steps in collaboration with our colleagues across EMU and Henry Ford College.

This dialogue series will be offered on the following Fridays, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Jan. 22, 2020; Feb. 12, 2020; March 5, 2020; March 26, 2020.
