Cougars Reading Club is an eight week incentive program with schools being able to select their own timeframe for reading between the months of January and April. Students from Pre-K through 8th grade are eligible to participate; however, to participate, a student's school must be a member of the reading club program.

Cougars Reading Club tracks the progress of a student's reading around the bases of a baseball diamond with the three bases and home plate each representing two weeks of reading. Each teacher may determine their own reading requirements for the students.

The readers from your school who "hit home runs" earn a free ticket to a May Cougars game designated by your school. Field trips are also an option.

Other rewards students receive include:

A hot dog and soft drink
A Golden Ticket for complimentary admission to all June-September games
