Drag Personas as Mythological Creatures: Be your own Guardian Angel, Monster and Superhero

This program will be developed by organizing critical collective practices in intensive two-days-workshops “Foreign intimacies Workshops Weekend” on the 4th and 5th of September 2021, conducted by TQBIPOC artists from different disciplines, centering the body as a medium of endless narrations that holds within the untold stories, and it will be mapped and inscripted through a interviews sessions that aims towards building a queer reflective story(s) in a form of archives, a critical decolonial embodiment workshop dealing with body experiences from an intersectional perspective.

Establishing through these workshops are mechanisms of connectedness and emphasizing the experiences of marginalized bodies’ isolation on a mentally and bodily level during COVID-19 as well as the post-pandemic growth and daily resistance. The project is also a space to narrate stories that our bodies hold in, out of the degrading or excluding societal lenses, serving as forms of manuscripts written from us by us.
