Check for ebook availability

Instructors, before you require students to purchase textbook copies from the bookstore, check with the library to see if they’re freely available to students as library-licensed ebooks. The library can buy unlimited-user ebook licenses for course textbooks when certain criteria are met. If an unlimited-user library license isn’t available from publishers (which is unfortunately often the case), the library can help you explore free/low-cost alternatives.
