Located near Granite Quarry, NC. Head south on NC Highway 52 towards Albemarle, NC. Turn onto Stone House Road in Granite Quarry near the two gas stations. The Old Stone House is located a half mile down the road.
This grave marking is done in conjunction with the Rowan Museum Germanfest and the Brown-Fisher Association annual meeting on the grounds of the Old Stone House. Germanfest is a two day event beginning about 9:30 am on Saturday and portrays a German settlement of the 1770’s with crafts, food, and demonstrations by period-dressed docents including woodworking and textiles. The Brown-Fisher business meeting will be at noon and the grave marking will commence at the end of their business meeting about 1:00 pm. This grave marking is a family event that the public will be attending.
