EVENT INFO:
Shared Communities presents the first ever Pop Up Multicultural Market on Sunday 17th December.
Come along to find crafts, henna, hair-braiding, food and performances from Nelson's diverse migrant and former refugee communities.
EVENT TIMING:- Sunday 17th Dec 2023, 4pm - 8pm
- Setup: 2.30pm - 4pm.
EVENT ADDRESS:
At the Farmer's Market site on Halifax Street, next to Elma Turner Library.
PERFORMERS:
All performers will have access to a stage area and will be given a time slot to perform. We will look to offer performers vouchers as a thank you.
VENDOR INFORMATION:
- It is free for you to attend.
- If possible, vendors must their supply own gazebo/tables and be prepared for ALL WEATHER.
- We will share a site map with you prior to the market.
- We would love you to dress according to your culture or bring some decorations for your stall/truck to display the diversity of our community and be as colourful as possible.
PAYMENTS:- We encourage all vendors to have eftpos available.
- You must provide your own cash float if you are using cash as a method of payment.
- There will be NO CASH OUT facilities.
POWER:
- Will be supplied if required, equipment must be tagged and tested.
CANCELLATION:
In the event the market is to be cancelled (bad weather), we will notify you within 24 hours before the event is to start.
