STEAM Robotics and Coding Club


Dear Parents and Carers,
In conjunction with our STEAM program, we are looking at running a fun and engaging after school STEAM Workshop in Term 3. This program will be run by Snapology and will feature technology and popular building toys such as LEGO® bricks and K’Nex®.

Student will learn how to code while building robotic games to test your code. Students will learn about sequencing commands, value and sensor inputs, and loops. Whether creating a robotic hockey player, pinball machine, or a ring toss, students are sure to have fun building, learning, and playing.

Cost: $225
The total cost for the 8-week program is $225 per child (there will be no class in Week 9 due to the school closing at 1:10pm).
The Service NSW Creative Kids Vouchers can be used for this program allowing parents to get a $100 rebate. Parents will be required to pay in full and submit their Creative Kids Vouchers to the office. Upon redeeming these vouchers, parents will be given a $100 refund.

When: Week 2 - Week 10 Monday 19th July - Monday 13th September
3:30 pm to 4:45 pm (75 minute sessions)
Please note there will be no class in Week 9 due to school closing at 1:10pm

IMPORTANT: The minimum requirement for this workshop to run is 10 students. If the expression of interest falls below 10 students, unfortunately, we will not be able to proceed with this workshop.
