We, the rank and file members of UAW Local 2322 join in solidarity with our union siblings, the Mental Health Counselors and Certified Nursing Assistants at Providence Behavioral Health Hospital. News of the recent National Labor Relations Board ruling against Trinity/Providence Hospital has reverberated throughout the Local membership and comes as no surprise to us. We are well aware of the kind of employer that Trinity really is and how management mistreats the workers who keep Prov running and save peoples’ lives.

As a Union we will not tolerate it when our fellow workers are taken for granted, exploited, and retaliated against for embracing their rights to dignity and livelihood. We join our fellow members at Prov in condemning the evil and corrupt actions of David Bittner and the rest of management, who dehumanize employees in the name of profit, This bottom line is bad for workers and bad for the patients in great need of the support and services provided by those workers.

We celebrate the perseverance of our fellow workers who fought and pushed forward the NLRB investigation and who will bravely testify at the upcoming trial should the Hospital refuse to restore workers’ benefits and rights.
