This is an invitation for students who are in the 3rd, 4th, & 5th grades to come join the elementary choir.  The elementary choir is for students who wish to improve their singing skills, who would like an opportunity to perform a solo, or who just enjoy singing with their friends.  There are no auditions, so any student in grades 3-5 may join.

We will meet once a week on Thursdays from 2:00-3:20 PM in the elementary music room (Rm. 201, S. Corral) and have solo auditions or an occasional extra rehearsal on Tuesdays from 11:05-11:45 AM during their lunch recess.  On Thursdays, parents or guardians must provide transportation home from school unless the student is in the afterschool program.   If your child has transportation issues, they may be eligible to ride the middle school bus home.  Please provide their elementary bus number and the drop off streets so that I can get them on the correct Middle School Bus.

Choir members are expected to attend each rehearsal and to give their best during that time, as there will be little or no need for practice outside the rehearsal time.  The Winter Concert will be in December and the Spring Concert is in May.  We usually sing at the Oro Valley Tree Lighting Ceremony which is the first weekend of December.  There are other tentative performances such as the Chili Cook Off and the Spring Festival.

The concert attire will be the choir shirt and jeans.  The shirts are available for purchase for $10.
