Anxiety, stress and risks of depression amongst youth have grown sigificantly due to climate change, Covid-19 pandemic, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

During the Hack we aim to find solutions e.g. to build awareness on mental health, emotional coping skills, training for teachers and staff, distigmatization of psychological disorders, and creating safe spaces for youths.

The Hack takes place on Saturday 9th and Saturday 16th of April 2022. Teams are also expected to advance their ideas in between the two Hack days by reaching out to relevant community members. At the end of the Hack, each team will deliver a 3 minute pitch. The most promising solutions are offered a spot in the UNLEASH Plus program which is a 6 month accelerator co-hosted by Chemonics International. Other prices will be provided by partners.
