2023 Green Pitch Application
This exciting live pitch event is part of the Planet in Focus 2023 Industry Conference on Friday, October 20, 2023 at the Centre for Social Innovation Spadina and will see filmmakers vie for a chance to win a prize valued at over $20,000 CDN in services and cash towards the completion of an environmentally themed project. 

The Green Pitch Competition is adjudicated by a panel of distinguished industry professionals who will award the prize package that includes: production, equipment rentals, studio rentals, post services (picture & sound), key poster art, a cash component, and the mentorship of an established professional filmmaker.

The winner will be announced at the Planet in Focus Closing Night Awards Gala on October 22, 2023 at the Paradise Theatre.

Eligibility Disclosure *
• Projects must be environmentally themed and explore issues pertaining to the social, political or ecological environment • Applicants must be Canadian residents • Applicants must have at least one previous film credit (not including student works) • If selected, pitches should be between 5 minutes in length with an additional 5 minutes for questions from the jury • Pitches must have an AV component • Prizes must be claimed within 10 months, unless otherwise arranged with supplier • Pitch finalists must be present at the live event on Friday, October 20, 2023 in Toronto.
