The Center for Sustainable Energy (ND Energy) invites incoming juniors and seniors interested in conducting energy-related research at the University of Notre Dame to apply for a
2024 Summer Vincent P. Slatt Fellowship for Undergraduate Research in Energy Systems and Processes. This is a 10-week, full-time research program from
May 20 to July 27 with projects matching the interests of students with current projects led by ND Energy faculty affiliates.
Awards are
up to $8,500 per student, which includes a stipend ($6,200) and allowances to assist with on-campus housing ($1,500), meals ($500 in Domer Dollars), and travel ($300) if needed.
Summer Slatt scholars will participate in professional development and social events, and present their research at the Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium. Scholars will also complete a survey, submit a final report summarizing their research project and results, and prepare a thank-you letter to the Slatt family at the end of their research experience.
