Instructions:
To be admitted into the Alimiyya Programme at ASI, we expect students to be proficient in the following skills:

• Read and comprehend a high intermediate level classical text without any vowels

• Grammatically dissect individual words within a text, giving its grammatical role, function, case and case indicator

• Know the grammatical agents: majzūmāt, manṣūbāt, marfūʿāt and majrūrāt that govern the case of a word

• Students entering must also have mastered the 10 forms of the 3-lettered verb in all its various shapes: hamzated, doubled, initial, middle, end and double-weak verbs

• They should also be able to recognise verb forms 11-15 and the quadrilateral verb forms 1-4
