Application for Canton's Greater Together Community Fund Advisory Committee
Canton's Greater Together Community Fund through the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving is administrated by an Advisory Committee of town residents that is inclusive, representative and reflective of all of the residents of that community.
The Advisory Committee works to identify the greatest needs in Canton and design a grantmaking process aimed to ensure that the Greater Together Community Funds can have the greatest impact for the benefit of town residents. Hartford Foundation for Public Giving staff provides guidance on topics such as participatory decision making, grantmaking and fund development, as needed.
The Canton Greater Together Community Fund meets on the second Monday of each month at 7pm with additional subcommittee meetings held as needed. Please take this meeting day and time into consideration before you apply. Also, applicants may not be an elected official or run for office while actively serving on the committee. Applicants are expected to serve a minimum of 2 years.
