RESIDENT LEADERSHIP ACADEMY
Please complete the form below to pre-register TODAY for the Wellston Community Coalition 2023 Resident Leadership Academy. The academy is FREE and is made possible through the Edward Byrne Memorial Grant.

The Resident Leadership Academy is a 1-hour commitment typically every 4th Saturday of the month from February - November (no training in June and due to the holiday weekend training will be held November 18th). Graduation will be December 16, 2023. Residents will learn vital leadership skills to improve not only their own quality of life, but their community as a whole. 

Training include: ESTATE PLANNING, NEIGHBORHOOD STORY MAPPING, ALTERNATIVES TO CALLING THE POLICE, CRIMINAL LAWS, NON-PROFIT MANAGEMENT, HOW & WHY TO ORGANIZE YOUR COMMUNITY, MENTAL HEALTH & FIRST AID, NARCAN & CPR, BLOCK CAPTAIN TRAINING, COMMUNITY MEDIATION TRAINING, and GRANT WRITING 101.

Training sessions will be held at 6439 Plymouth Ave., Wellston, MO 63133 in the STL Partnership Building

Wellston residents are given first priority enrollment, however registration is open to other residents in the 24:1. Space is limited. Registration closes February 11, 2023.

Upon successful completion of the academy with at least 80% attendance, residents will receive a certificate of completion and will be able to participate in the graduation celebration in December.  Please indicate any known schedule conflicts.  *
