Broadway RFD Virtual Theatre Camp Registration
In order to provide children a theatre experience this summer, Broadway RFD has created a VIRTUAL theatre camp this June. This virtual camp will include classes on all aspects of theatre, for example, the audition process, costuming, makeup, set design, etc. At the end of our time, campers would put together recordings of their assigned projects, and a final product video would be shared with the public. The Broadway RFD camp team is passionate about providing campers with a full theatre experience as safely and authentically as possible.

Registration is open to children who will be completing 2nd grade to children who will be completing 8th grade. A donation of $50 per student provides campers with a t-shirt and camp activities for the three weeks. Please follow the link at the end of the form to submit your $50. Registrations are due May 29th. Late Registrations will be accepted only if the maximum amount of students has not been met. The Late Registration Donation amount is $75. Students residing within McPherson and Saline Counties will get first placement. If the maximum students is not met by May 29th, outside students will be granted registration.

 Attendance:

o Broadway RFD's Virtual Theatre Camp begins Monday, June 8th and the final meeting will be June 25th.

o Camp runs Monday through Friday, with 60 min classes each day, divided by age group. The individual classes will happen between 1 and 4 pm each day. This 60 minutes of class time could include one zoom call during these hours, or your child may receive a shorter zoom call with a second prerecorded lesson.

o All students are required to join the video calls once a day for the duration of camp and produce their assigned project at the end.

Attitude:

o This camp is meant to be a safe and fun learning environment. If a camper is misbehaving, causing problems during a zoom call, or not participating/showing up at all, a camper may be removed from zoom calls or removed from the camp altogether in order to keep the virtual camp a safe and fun learning experience.

o  In the case of a camper being removed from activities, no refund will be offered. Their camp tuition will be considered a donation to future Broadway RFD Jr. activities.
