If you elect to enroll your child in FOLA, it is important you understand your roll in your child's asynchronous online eduction. Please read the Parent Acknowledgment and Understanding Agreement below.

I understand that my child must reside within the Connellsville Area School District boundaries in order to enroll in FOLA.
I understand that my participation in my child’s education will help determine his/her likelihood of success in the asynchronous FOLA program.
I understand that time management is vital to my child’s success and I will work with my child in creating a daily schedule.
I understand that it is my responsibility to make sure my child logs in everyday to keep attendance in good standing.
I understand that if my child has 10 or more unexcused absenses that he/she may be required to return to brick and mortar.
I agree to continuously monitor and support my child in his/her studies.
I agree to be accessible and readily available to the FOLA Coordinator, School Counselor and Online Teacher to discuss my child’s progress and development. If I am unaccessible for more than 10 days, my child may be dismissed from the FOLA program and returned to brick and mortar to ensure his/her academic success.
I understand that acceptance into this program is contingent upon daily attendance and passing grades.
I understand that failure to follow these policies may result in dismissal from the FOLA program.
I understand that the Connellsville Area School District reserves the right to dismiss my child from the FOLA program if he/she is unsuccessful with asynchronous online learning and require my child's return to brick and mortar.
