Sensory-Friendly Performance of Ballet de Seuss 2023
Friday, April 21st at 5:30pm
Academy of Children's Theatre
213 Wellsian Way
Richland, WA

Mid-Columbia Ballet will turn on the lights, lower the music and invite individuals with disabilities/special needs and their family to a sensory-friendly performance of four beloved tales by Dr. Seuss. This relaxed 35-minute performance has been specially created to serve individuals who have special and sensory needs and their families. This performance has no cost for families, but we request that each family register using the following form.

What makes this performance friendly to the senses? In addition to the adjusted volumes of light and sound, your family can experience the show in their own way, without the need to worry about members of your group needing to move around or making sounds during the presentation. Our sensory-friendly performances are "shush-free zones" where families never have to feel self-conscious or worried about disrupting others. This welcoming and accepting setting will also include a space for a break in the lobby.
