Mini and Junior Crew Application 2024-25
Application is due by Sunday, May 19th.

Then fill out application. Dancer and Parent should both fill out the application together! Thank you!

Timeline/Checklist to Remember:
-Review and understand the Calendar Dates Below and the cost and commitment laid out in Crew Information Packet
-June 3rd- Welcome emails will go out to those who get into Crew with their Welcome Packet and Commitment Page to be signed. A separate email will be sent to those who do not make it into Crew. FINAL DATES AND CALENDAR WILL BE CONFIRMED WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR WELCOME PACKET/COMMITMENT LETTER ON JUNE 3rd.
-Those accepted will have Crew class added to their account. 
-Register for your required classes or make sure to participate in Rollover Registration. 
-June 10th- submit your signed Commitment Page to sunny@sbdancearts.com or bring to the office. 
-June 14th- Crew fee #1 auto-charged, or you can choose to pay in full. 
-June 17th-August 1st- fulfill required summer training- make sure you are signed up!

  • August 19th- FIRST DAY OF REGULAR CLASSES - no Crew week 1

  • August 29th- First Crew Class 

  • September 4th- Crew Orientation on zoom- BLACKOUT

  • September 13th- Auto Charge #2- $358.75

  • September 14th- Crew Team Photos and Party with Emerge (meet your families)- BLACKOUT 

  • November 8th- Auto Charge #3- $358.75

  • December 2-5th- December Showcase Performance- exact date TBD- BLACKOUT

  • January 10th- Final Auto Charge #4- $358.75

  • February 14th- Competition Auto Charge- Amount TBD

  • March 14th- Crew Night Out for Configuration

  • April 2nd- Crew Competition and Showcase Meeting on zoom- BLACKOUT

  • April 11-13th- Spring Competition Weekend- BLACKOUT

  • April 27th -  Student Showcase- BLACKOUT

  • May 8-14th- Inspire Tech- BLACKOUT

  • May 15th- Crew Night Out for Inspire

  • May 17th- Inspire Recital – BLACKOUT

  • May 30th- Debut! Recital Performance- BLACKOUT- please note- if you are an SBMS student, we are willing to work with you on this performance only, if you have to miss it. 

Emerge In Training (Add-on):
Dancers applies to be on the EIT Team. Extra training, rehearsals, performances and commitment listed in Crew Information Packet. Cost: $330

Peak Performer (Optional):
Dancer picks which style of solo, duo or trio they would like choreographed by Hannah Wagster. Specific "labs" will be set for dancers to practice. Dancers will compete in two spring competitions. Full information listed in Crew Information Packet.

I understand the required training for Crew and that it is an additional cost outside of the Crew fees. I understand I must stay on top of registration deadlines in order to guarantee my dancer's place in the appropriate classes. *
I understand the cost and commitment associated with Crew. I understand the importance of BLACKOUT dates and will ensure my dancer meets his/her year-long Crew commitment. I also understand there are no refunds for Crew and I am committed to classes for both Fall and Spring Sessions. *
28 hours of Destination Dance Classes/Camps or approved equivalent program is required in order to keep your place in Crew. Dancers can inquire about approved alternatives. I plan to take these week(s) of training: *
I understand Crew will attend a competition one weekend in April (11-13th). The competition will be in CA, and will offer the chance for dancers to find inspiration from other dancers across the country. Parents are responsible for accommodations and transportation. Entry fee is $100-200 per dancer. *
