2019 U of T Scarborough Farmers' Market Application
The University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) Farmers' Market provides an opportunity for local farmers, producers, and artisans to connect directly with customers from within U of T Scarborough and the local community. The Market is here to foster an awareness of the benefits of buying local and to provide the greater UTSC community with locally grown, sustainably produced, healthy food.

To fulfill a component of our educational mandate, local farmers, producers, and vendors are encouraged to help educate the local community about where food is grown and produced. This educational component will slowly be implemented with the help of professional chefs, nutritionists, and of course, you, the producers of local products and produce.

Participation in the UTSC Farmers' Market is by invitation, by the Director of Business Development at the University of Toronto Scarborough.

The UTSC Farmers' Market is producer-based; therefore, only applicants offering goods for sale that they have produced themselves will be considered. Selection of vendors/farmers will be sent to a committee based on UTSC Farmers' Market needs and fit into the Market. We do our best to ensure that we do not have too much vendor overlap. If you have been selected to participate in our Market, the Market Manager or a committee designate will contact you with further details and your contract (to be submitted during the Market meeting).

We are on Campus in Front of the Daycare! - Scarborough Loop

Time: every Wednesday 2:30pm - 6:30pm
Load-in time: 1pm
Load-out time: 6:45pm

There is a cost of $300 to participate in all 20 Markets (This translates to $15/market) Vendors who choose to rotate market dates will be charged a $250 fee to attend every other market(or 10 markets). Vendors who wish to participate in less than 5 markets may choose to do so at a fee of $30/market.

Regular Vendors' market fees are due on/or before July 10, 2020. Rotating Vendors' fees are due on the date of the Market.
