🌿About the lecture:
The Internet offers a lot of possibilities and can be a comfortable arena for young people to explore one's sexuality, however it is important to be aware of the risks that come with it.
In this lecture we will talk about pornography, sexting and popular online platforms such as OnlyFans.

We will explore statistics and laws from a Swedish perspective and discuss different ways to give youth practical tools to handle things they meet online.

🌿Lecturers: Emir Metahni & Andréa Hörnfeldt, Outreach social workers at SDF Northeast Gothenburg, Sweden.

📍Date: May 27th, 19:00-20:30

🤍About Sex Ed 3.0:

SexEd 3.0 is a series of events for teenagers and young people in Latvia, organised for the third time by the youth organisation Young Folks LV. The project includes lectures, online seminars and discussions on sexuality education.

This year we have decided to make lectures even more accessible. The lectures will be held both in English and Russian, and there will also be a special meeting of parents and an expert to discuss how to talk to their teenagers about sex and puberty. Also there will be the first panel discussion with LGBTQI activists and researchers from Western and Eastern Europe as well as Latvia.

We believe that access to information directly affects the quality of life of young people, which is why our goal is to talk about physical and mental health, sex, gender and relationships openly and honestly. We have selected experts in their field who will give interesting lectures to answer all the participants' questions.
