December 2: Passion Session #2 | 1:00pm-2:00pm
Everyone has a passion or talent that they find themselves attracted to from time to time. From knitting and video games to podcasting and hot sauce. What if you want to turn your passion into a business? Join Rabia in a series of workshops where we discuss the basics of what goes on into starting a business and how you can turn your skills into a source of income.
Workshop 2: In workshop #2, we will learn about the basics of starting a business. What is marketing? How do we come up with a business name? What are some ways I can monetize my skills? Let’s get together and brainstorm some ideas!
December 4: Be Brave Open Stage | 3:00pm-5:00pm
Do you have a talent, creative passion or story to share? Come by the online OPEN STAGE and share your art form in front of a supportive audience. Everyone gets 5 minutes to share. All varieties of art forms are welcome, sing a song, do a dance, share a poem, joke or story.
December 6: Your Story, Your Dance | 2:00pm-3:00pm
Through these sessions we are looking into discovering your story through dance, and how that tells where you are from, and who you are, and what you love about you! The way each of us express our way of dancing is the exact technique required!
Dancers of all levels and abilities are welcome.
Session #4: Come Together, Right Now
We will be revisiting what we created in the previous 4 sessions and bring them together and start connecting our stories, looking at what blends our stories together.
Required (your choice): A meaningful object or memory, a space to move in with
comfortable clothes
December 13: Navigating the APP Workshop | 10am-11am
Join Rabia from the Gateway to Digital Inclusion APP Team to learn how to navigate our APP. Together, we will explore all the different channels, participate in engaging activities, and meet other community folks!

Session #5: Shaping the Big Reveal
Today we will be able to fully share our stories through dance and look at how we can share the magic together!

December 14: Open Art Studio
Join Open Art for a chance to create alongside others, share and experiment with different art forms. Each month will include a different approach to art-making that aims to inspire your inner artist and bring us together in creativity. Artists of all levels and abilities are welcome.
Experiment #4: Big Dreamer
As the end of 2022 approaches it’s a good time to set goals for 2023 and reach toward your dreams for the future. Using old magazines, books, calendars, etc., we will collage personal “dream-boards” cutting and pasting words and images that represent important ideas, hopes and dreams you hold for your future. If possible, take time to plan and prepare which images and text you want to use.
Art Supplies Required (your choice): Paper/canvas; Scissors; Glue; magazines/books/old calendars; Pen/pencil/marker/paints
