"The Skilled Bather" Course Application

When grooming a pet, the bath and drying process is crucial for the trim or haircut. We offer a comprehensive training program to prepare individuals to become skilled, confident, and certified dog bathers. This hands-on, curriculum-based course covers all aspects of dog bathing, from bathing and drying techniques to essential grooming practices.

Students will learn the proper techniques for bathing dogs of all sizes and coat types, including selection of the right product, handling different skin conditions, proper drying techniques, and maintaining hygiene standards. In addition, the course emphasizes the importance of recognizing health signs in dogs, such as skin issues, allergies, and behavioral cues, ensuring that students are well-versed in pet safety protocols during the bathing process. 

Students who enroll in “The Skilled Bather" certification course will engage in 17 weeks of coursework and hands-on bathing experience. To earn their certification, students must complete a total of 250 hours of training.

It is a tuition-based course, with all educational material and tools included.

Accepted applicants will be invited for an in-person meeting to receive a detailed overview of the course.
