Scholar's Academy Parent Survey
The Scholar's Academy is a program that would be offered to qualifying rising fourth and fifth grade students in an effort to provide rigorous coursework that supports mastery of core content at a pace and depth appropriate for advanced learners.

Students would qualify based on standardized academic measures (MAP, SC READY, STAR, ITBS)  and teacher recommendation.   As this is a class that would provide deeper analysis and application of grade level skills, a student's past and current academic performance, maturity level, and their potential for talent development are highly taken into consideration.

Parents would be required to provide permission for program placement.

Students who show growth within the program would continue in the Scholar's Academy as they progress through middle school.
