SEA-EU DOC Training Event -The problem-solving skills for supervisors, 23-27 May 2022, Split, Croatia
The problem solving is ranked among the most in-demand job skills. Employers are looking for individuals who are able to handle unexpected situations and turn them into opportunities.

To help doctoral students develop problem-solving skills and ability to apply these skills in different real-life contexts, the University of Split is organizing the training event.

The event will take place in Spinit incubator, Split from 23 to 27 May 2022

If you want to improve your mentoring skills and problem-solving skills, join us for this event!.

The event will bring together 60 participants selected from the 6 SEA-EU DOC universities: 9 doctoral students and 1 supervisor per each university. The students and supervisors from any field of research and study (natural sciences, humanities, social studies, technical sciences...) can apply, as long as they are related in some way to marine, maritime and coastal sciences.

To join this training, please register through this form. Call for registration will close 31st of March, 2022. Depending on the number of registrations received, each university will internally proceed to a selection among the different applications received.


The SEA-EU-DOC project aims to broaden the employment opportunities of doctorate students and doctoral holders in the particular context of marine sciences, by working on the development and transferability of the skills acquired during the doctorate and their applications in a context of professional integration.
In this context, training will help participants to develop specific transversal skills which are precisely the competences that need to be sharpened.
