CalPlacement State Conference 2024-Call for Proposals

  1. Are you a trailblazer in the dynamic field of workforce development, eager to share your insights and innovations with fellow professionals? The 2024 CPA State Conference Planning Committee invites you to submit a proposal to be a part of our esteemed lineup of speakers at the upcoming 3-day conference in Ventura, CA, from February 28, 29 through March 1, 2024.

The conference aims to cater to a diverse audience, including newcomers and seasoned practitioners from two-year and four-year institutions, government agencies, non-profit organizations, human resources, and related fields. We encourage proposals on a wide range of topics, such as:

- Personal Branding

- Professional Networking with employers

- ChatGPT and AI Career Development Tool/Resources

- Fundamental job search best practices

- New ways to apply for jobs on social media/(such as LinkedIn or CANVA for job seekers)

- How to respond to the Culture of Quietly Quitting and Disengagement

- Apprenticeships
