Forklift Danceworks is a dance-driven nonprofit.
We are looking for Community Arts Youth Leaders for Summer 2019!
Help us create a community arts performance at Givens Pool.

Youth Leaders will:
Represent your neighborhood
Lead and manage others
Interview the community
Help produce a show
Learn from and with professional Austin artists

Internship Dates: June 3 - August 2
Show dates: July 19, 20, 21 & July 26, 27, 28

ELIGIBILITY
Be sure to review the eligibility criteria before applying. You DO NOT need to be able to swim.

You must:
-be between the ages of 15 and 20.
-be going into 10th, 11th or 12th grade OR in a community program; or employed.
-be fluent in the English and/or Spanish language (speaking, reading, writing).
-agree to complete necessary release forms.
-provide a recommendation letter or phone reference.
-be able to guide, manage, and train a group of peers.
