The influence of blended Massive Open Online Courses on student’s learning and their academic performance

INTRODUCTION:
Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), which are free online courses that can be enrolled and taken by anyone and provided by MOOC Providers such as Alison, Cousera, Edx, Saylor etc. Universities all over the world are using MOOC courses to supplement their regular campus-based programme.

You are participating in the survey because you took a level 100 (ITS101/AGP101/SBU105 using Alison) or level 200 (CSC213/INF215 using Alison and Saylor) or level 300 (EMG303 using Saylor or Edx) and/or level 800 (EIT806/EIT816 using Alison and Saylor). The instructional delivery for the above-named courses is blended MOOC since the UCC classroom course was supplemented with the said MOOC platforms. Blended MOOC is a form of blended learning that lies between purely face-to-face and purely online e-learning continuum. Kindly be truthful and report purely from your experience and observation.

OBJECTIVE:
This questionnaire is aimed at accessing your experiences in using the content of the said MOOCs as open educational resources for the UCC courses mentioned. Your response will help the University in policy formation in this regard.
