Trauma Informed Professional Learning Community (PLC) for Executive Leaders presented by the Center for Youth Development Professionals and lead facilitator, Dannyelle Austin
Thank you for your interest in the Trauma Informed Professional Learning Community (PLC) for Executive Leaders. The goals of this PLC are to equip executive leaders of youth serving and nonprofit organizations with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to engage in whole systems thinking around creating and sustaining a trauma informed culture. We will address the concept of trauma both broadly, as well as the trauma of the Covid-19 pandemic and the unsurfacing of the systemic racial pandemic that has plagued our country and our organizations for centuries and how these things show up in our organizations.

Sessions will take place virtually, with the exception of the kick off and closing meeting, which will take place in-person using all Covid-19 safety precautions; individuals will be required to use the Zoom platform.

A few things to note:
*  The time for the PLC is on Fridays from 10am-12:30, with the kick off and closing session taking place in-person from 10am-3pm (with a break for lunch, which we will provide).
* Participants should represent executive and senior leadership and those position with decision making authority within the organization.
*People are required to join this PLC IN TEAMS, with two people being the minimum required from each organization.
* The PLC will take place twice a month between February and May 2022 (unless otherwise noted).
* There will be some pre-work (reading and viewing) so we are all starting with the same definitions/foundation.
* Completing an application does not guarantee a spot in the PLC.
* A deposit of 15% is required for those selected, due at the time of acceptance, the balance is due by the second session.
* Cost is based on a sliding scale - see below. NO ONE WILL BE TURNED AWAY DUE TO FINANCES.
*The PLC must have a minimum of 5 organizations to run; it will not have more than 12 organizations (a waiting list will be created and people will be notified if anyone drops out and/or when the next cohort will take place).

Sliding scale rates:
Organization with budget up to $150,000 = $150-$300 (for two people)
Organization with budget between $151,000-$250,000 = $450-$600 (for two people)
Organization with budget between $251,000-$350,000 = $600-$750 (for two people)
Organization with budget between $351,000-$450,000+ = $750-$1000 (for two people)
Organization with budget between $451,000-$500,000+ = $1000-$1350 (for two people)
