The Boot Co. Grant Program was established in 2012 to help support the work of Queensland’s many LGBTIQ+ health services and community organizations.

The program is funded from the proceeds of The BootCo Brisbane events and fundraising throughout the year.

Boot Co. aims to support activities or opportunities which provide lasting community benefit in the areas of

Health, safety and wellbeing
Education and counseling
Community engagement

Some examples of projects which would be eligible for funding are:

Establishment of programs/ opportunities for community outreach;
Purchase of equipment
Funding for events

The BootCo Brisbane Grant Program will provide funding of up to $1000 per applicant per round.

All applications must be submitted via the BootCo Brisbane Grants Program Submission Form before the closing date of the application process.

All applications will be reviewed by the The BootCo Brisbane Management committee within 8 weeks of the closing date of applications. All applicants will be advised of the outcome.

The management committee of The BootCo Brisbane will have final determination on all grant requests.

The payment process may take up to 8 weeks from the approval date.

If successful for funding under the BootCo Brisbane Grants Program we, the organization and its representatives, agree to:

To only use the granted funds for the project / program applied for. Any changes need to be approved by the Boot Co. Committee, whom may withdraw funding if the project is unable to meet its original intent

Provide Boot Co. Brisbane with recognition for grant funding for successful applications for their projects / programs via social media and other platforms as agreed to with the management committee

Provide the BootCo Brisbane with feedback on the overall outcomes of the project including success measures.
