What is the HEALING project about?

Healing is an Erasmus + project. The project is designed to be implemented across (8) Tunisian and Jordan Universities. It is coordinated by the University of Jordan. The main objective of the Healing project is to divulge and foster the development of the Arts Therapies and Arts Therapies education, exploiting the know-how of partner countries. In particular, the project aims to develop a professional educational program (e-learning package)  that will enable all staff and students to work with patients with chronic conditions to offer them arts-based therapeutic activities.

The first step of the project aims at assessing the current situation on Art Therapy in Education in Tunisian and Jordan Universities. On the one hand, we aim to assess the existing resources related to Art Therapy (e.g., presence of courses, interdisciplinary laboratories). On the other hand, we also aim to establish what are the competencies that teachers and students would expect to develop from an Art therapy course.

How can you help us?

Via this survey, we will sample the current situation of art therapy and e-learning at your Institution and the possible subjects that can be offered in an Art Therapy program.
The answers will be collected, processed, and summarized in a report. On the basis of this report, the project consortium will proceed to identify the pros and cons of possible obstacles and possibilities.
The survey’s data will be exploited only to make an overarching analysis. The data will not be used for any other purposes, nor they will be provided to third parties. The data will not be kept longer than necessary for the intended purpose.
