CRITICAL EYE
CRITICAL EYE: Visual Archives for Education is an innovative pedagogical initiative applying creative craft and digital tools with secondary education students to explore visual archives.

The aim is to offer a digital tool and activity guides to encourage critical thinking through images in the classroom. These resources will be developed in collaboration with artists, photographers, educators, professional photographers and museums.

We strongly believe this approach towards images and visual archives can help to understand the present and imagine the future.

With this questionnaire we try to map out important aspects to help the CRITICAL EYE team to develop an activity plan for the next academic year. We are looking for secondary school teachers who also believe visual archives can be a useful learning tool to encourage creative and critical thinking.

The project is produced by IC Visual Lab in collaboration with the support of the Arts Council of England and in collaboration with other institutions and various archival institutions.
