EHCPS 2020-2021 AM REACH Online Application
Our 21st CCLC R.E.A.C.H (Recreation, Enrichment, Academics, Character, and Health,) AM Program is available to Egg Harbor City Public School students, who attend school IN-PERSON ONLY, in grades 3-8. We will start the AM REACH October 5, 2020 as an in-person program from 7:20am-8:20am.

The Egg Harbor City Schools’ 21st CCLC REACH is dedicated to providing a safe environment for students in grades 3rd through 8th where opportunities to increase academic achievement, create positive adult interaction among students, youth development, and physical activity are provided.

Attendance is vital for our REACH Program to receive federal funding. Our program will operate Monday through Friday programming. Students will have access to the AM REACH program from 7:20am-8:20am (not any time before).

Students will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. We will be accepting the first 24, 3rd graders that apply as well as the first 48, 4th-8th grade students. There will be a waiting list for any additional participants. You will receive an email if you have been accepted into the program.

Please complete this online registration form to enroll each of your children. All questions must be answered to complete and submit this application. Please remember this AM Program is only available to students who attend school IN-PERSON.

Nuestro programa 21st  CCLC R.E.A.C.H (Recreación, Enriquecimiento, Académicos, Carácter y Salud) programa AM está disponible para los estudiantes de las escuelas públicas de Egg Harbor City, que asisten a la escuela SOLAMENTE EN PERSONA, en los grados 3-8. Estudiantes serán aceptados por orden de llegada. Aceptaremos a los primeros 24 estudiantes de 3er grado que apliquen, así como a los primeros 48 estudiantes de 4to a 8vo grado. Habrá una lista de espera para los participantes adicionales. Recibirá un correo electrónico si ha sido aceptado en el programa.

Favor de completar este formulario de registro para inscribir a cada uno de sus hijos. Todas las preguntas deben ser contestadas para completar y enviar esta solicitud. Por favor recuerde que este Programa AM solo está disponible para estudiantes que asisten a la escuela EN PERSONA.

BEHAVIOR AGREEMENT & CONTRACT for Grades 3-8: The 21st Century Community Learning Center is committed to providing students in our program a safe and enriching learning environment. Each student will have the opportunity to receive help with their homework and be exposed to other social and enrichment activities. Our program will promote social, physical, and emotional growth in a respectful atmosphere. It is our desire to create an environment where students are listened to, cared about, and are an important member of our program.  DISCIPLINE POLICY: Please keep in mind that the program does not have support staff such as a SCHOOL NURSE, guidance counselors, planning rooms, or the principal to turn to when children are misbehaving before school hours. The AM staff are often time the only staff in the building. For this reason, we cannot tolerate misbehavior. The expected behaviors are set by the Board, site administrator, staff, and the school. We expect the same behaviors before school hours as during regular school. These expectations are clearly spelled out in the Student Handbooks located on the district website. Our expectations include: respect for others (staff and other students), hands off at all times, cooperative play, sportsmanship, and appropriate language. OUR POLICIES WILL BE MAINTAINED IN THE FOLLOWING WAY: For Daily Offenses: 1. If a child is not respectful of one of the rules he/she will be given a verbal warning. 2. For he second offense, he/she will be asked to take a 10-minute "break" to sit and think about the reason why he/she is not being respectful. 3. If there is a third time within the same day, a parent/guardian/emergency contact person will be called to come and pick up the child. If your child is asked to leave the program on any certain day, he/she is welcome to come back and try again the next day. However, after being asked to leave three times, the child will not be able to return.  At this point, the Project Director and parent/guardian will need a conference to discuss this termination process. We will be consistent, fair, and offer any opportunity to accommodate. If there are extenuating circumstances we will try to accommodate after conferencing with the parent/guardian, but rarely will there be exceptions. EXCEPTIONS to the Three Strike Policies. FOR THESE OFFENSES, A CHILD WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PROGRAM IMMEDIATELY: 1. Any child who willfully hurts another child. 2. Any child who leaves the group to wander the building and refuses to return to the group or room. 3. Any child who leaves the program without consent of a parent AND a 21st CCLC staff member. 4. Any child who is insubordinate with the AM staff.  IF YOUR CHILD IS ASKED TO LEAVE THE AM PROGRAM, THE PARENT/GUARDIAN/EMERGENCY CONTACT PERSON WILL BE CALLED TO PICK UP THE CHILD IMMEDIATELY.------------------------------ACUERDO DE COMPORTAMIENTO Y CONTRATO para los grados 3-8: El Centro de Aprendizaje Comunitario del Siglo XXI se compromete a proporcionar a los estudiantes de nuestro programa un entorno de aprendizaje seguro y enriquecedor. Cada estudiante tendrá la oportunidad de recibir ayuda con su tarea y estar expuesto a otras actividades sociales y de enriquecimiento. Nuestro programa promoverá el crecimiento social, físico y emocional en un ambiente respetuoso. Es nuestro deseo crear un ambiente donde los estudiantes sean escuchados, atendidos y sean un miembro importante de nuestro programa.  PROTOCOLO DE DISCIPLINE: Tenga en cuenta que el Programa Extracurricular no cuenta con personal de apoyo como una ENFERMERA ESCOLAR, consejeros, salas de planificación o el director a quien recurrir cuando los niños se comportan mal durante este horario escolar. El personal de Programa Extracurricular es frecuentemente el único personal en el edificio. Por tal razón, no podemos tolerar el mal comportamiento. Los comportamientos esperados son establecidos por la Junta, el administrador del edificio, el personal y la escuela. Esperamos los mismos comportamientos después del horario escolar que durante la escuela regular. Estas expectativas se explican claramente en el manual estudiantil ubicados en la página web del distrito. Nuestras expectativas incluyen: respeto por los demás (personal y otros estudiantes), no tocar en ningún momento, juego cooperativo, espíritu deportivo y lenguaje apropiado. NUESTRO PROTOCOLO SE MANTENDRÁ DE LA SIGUIENTE MANERA: Para las Ofensas Diarias: 1. Si un niño no respeta una de las reglas se le dará una advertencia verbal. 2. Para él segunda ofensa, se le pedirá que tome un "descanso" de 10 minutos para sentarse y pensar en la razón por la que no está siendo respetuoso. 3. Si hay una tercera vez dentro del mismo día, se llamará a un padre/tutor/persona de contacto de emergencia para que venga a recoger al niño. Si a su hijo se le pide que abandone el programa en algún día determinado, es bienvenido a volver e intentarlo de nuevo al día siguiente. Sin embargo, después de que se le pida que se vaya tres veces, el niño no podrá regresar.  En este punto, el Director del Proyecto y el padre/tutor necesitarán una conferencia para discutir este proceso de terminación. Seremos consistentes, justos y ofreceremos oportunidad de acomodo. Si hay circunstancias atenuantes trataremos de acomodar,  después de la conferencia con el padre/ tutor, pero rara vez habrá excepciones. EXCEPCIONES al Protocolo de “Tres Strikes”. PARA ESTAS OFENSAS, SE LE PIDE AL ESTUDIANTE QUE ABANDONE EL PROGRAMA INMEDIATAMENTE: 1. Cualquier niño que lastime intencionalmente a otro niño. 2. Cualquier niño que abandone el grupo para pasear por el edificio y se niegue a regresar al grupo o habitación. 3. Cualquier niño que abandone el programa sin el consentimiento de un padre y un miembro del personal del 21st CCLC. 4. Cualquier niño que sea insubordinado con el personal. 5. Cualquier niño que se porte mal o abandone el grupo durante una excursión. En esta circunstancia, el niño se irá a casa inmediatamente, o no podrá asistir a la siguiente excursión.  SI SE LE PIDE A SU HIJO QUE ABANDONE EL PROGRAMA EXTRAESCOLAR, SE LLAMARÁ AL PADRE/TUTOR/PERSONA DE CONTACTO DE EMERGENCIA PARA QUE RECOJA AL NIÑO INMEDIATAMENTE. *
