Recording Project Application

Dear Applicant,

Please be aware that Recording Studio resources are limited. By submitting this form, you confirm that your project requires the use of a professional studio and engineer. Alternative resources are available for projects that do not require professional staff at all times, such as portfolio recordings and equipment checkouts.

Application Steps:
  1. Application Submission: Submit the application in advance (at least four weeks prior to your desired recording date is recommended).

  2. Application Review: After submitting the form, you will receive an automated email prompting you to schedule an application review meeting to discuss studio availability.

Fees and Rates:

  • Student Projects: Free of charge.
  • Faculty Projects: Engineering labor is covered at a rate of $50.00 per hour.
  • Non-School of Music Affiliates: Rental fees apply. More information on rates can be found here.
