Placemaking Europe's Place-Led Development Working Group is pleased to invite you to The Deep Dive Series.
Please join us via Zoom on Tuesday May 11th @ 18 -19.15 CET presented by Silvia Casorrán, City Councilwoman from Barcelona, about the Barcelona Superblocks.

The Superblocks in Barcelona are famous for their conversion of city streets into expanded public space for dense urban communities where green space is in short supply.

Silvia Casorrán brings her expert perspective in the field of mobility, as well as her experience advocating for improvements to the city’s first superblock, which was built in her own neighbourhood. We will hear a stimulating presentation followed by open dialogue for questions and discussion.

The Place-Led Development Working Group is eager to learn from the Barcelona Superblocks about bringing a human scale experience to dense urban neighbourhoods.
 
The series take a closer look at place-led development cases, presented by the expert behind the project, to share recipes for success and lessons learned along the way.
