GENERAL INFORMATION
The TDS Lower School Basketball Program is a volunteer-based program that serves all TDS Kindergarten to Fifth-grade students. We encourage parents or family to volunteer as coaches or assist with time-keeping and refereeing of games. Our volunteers make this program possible. The Intramurals program emphasizes skills development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun for our lower school students.

PROGRAM FORMAT
Groupings are based on gender and grade level.
Female divisions and male divisions are available for each grade-level grouping below.

Group 1: K-1st Grade Boys, K-2nd Grade Girls
Group 2: 2nd-3rd Boys
Group 3: 4th-5th Grade Boys
Group 4: 3rd-5th Grade Girls

PRACTICES & GAMES
Practices are hour-long, one night per week, Tuesday or Wednesday. Games take place on Friday evenings.  You will receive a calendar and weekly reminder which will include any time changes due to gym rental conflicts. After the Middle School volleyball season ends, we will start our Friday games at 5:00 PM so as to end our games earlier.

Group 1: K-1st Grade Boys & K-2nd grade Girls
  • PRACTICES: Wednesdays 5:00-6:00 PM
  • GAMES: Fridays 5:30-6:30 PM
Group 2: 2nd-3rd Grade Boys
  • PRACTICES: Tuesdays 5:15-6:15 PM
  • GAMES: Fridays 5:30-6:30 PM
Group 3: 4th-5th Grade Boys
  • PRACTICES: Wednesdays 6:00-7:00 PM
  • GAMES: Fridays 7:30-8:30 PM
Group 4: 3rd-5th Grade Girls
  • PRACTICES: Tuesdays 6:20-7:20 PM
  • GAMES: Fridays 6:30-7:30 PM

SITE
The TDS Gym will be used for all practices and games.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
All TDS students from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade and any non-TDS family and friends who have an affiliation with TDS families. Please send this form to any non-TDS families interested in the program.

IMPORTANT DATES
May 15: Registration opens
September 8: Registration deadline
September 6: Coaches’ and Volunteers' Virtual Meeting
Week of September 11: Practices begin
November 11: Season Ends

REGISTRATION AND FEES
Fees are $150 per participant and include a T-Shirt.
TDS FAMILIES
TDS families will be billed via FACTS.

NON-TDS FAMILIES
Non-TDS families, please send a check by mail or in person.
