Troop 1 will send at least 1 crew on the Superior Hiking Trail from Saturday, June 27- Wednesday, July1.
The number of scouts and adults sign up, will determine the number of crews (patrols).
Plan: Drive up on Saturday, June 27 & park and hit the trail. Return to the vehicles by July 1 and drive home. Estimated Cost $100/Person

Scout (Youth)
Requirements:
   • Pass Annual BSA Physical (parts ABC)
   • Will be prioritized/evaluated by Scoutmaster corps.

 
Adult Advisor • Need at least 2 per crew
Requirements:
   • At least Age 18
   • Pass Annual BSA Physical
   • Pass BSA Swim Test
   • Complete eTrainings: Youth Protection, Weather Hazards
   • Complete Training: Wilderness & Remote First Aid (≥1 per crew)
   • As with all Troop events, Adult Advisor priority given in this order: Scoutmaster Corps, Committee, Parents

Crew requirements
      • No more than 12 people in a crew - It becomes too difficult to find viable campsites - especially if we have to share in preoccupied sites.
      • At least one trained CPR & Wilderness & Remote First Aid
      • Two Adult Advisors per crew (4-6 adults total)
      • Plan route based on interest and experience
      • Menu & Food purchase
      • Supply your own backpack and personal gear
      • At least one adult over 21
      • Attend Troop Training sessions
      • Travel representing Troop in BSA Uniform
