INFORMED CONSENT:
The experiment in which you are about to participate in is designed to investigate the relationship between drag performance and gender identity. This study will also examine how drag serves as a medium for self-expression, gender exploration, and the development of gender identity. Additionally, it will look into the possible intersections of experiences such as gender dysphoria, gender fluidity, and overall gender satisfaction.
This research is being conducted to fulfill a requirement for the Research Method in Psychology course at Lorain County Community College (LCCC). The experiment has been approved by LCCC’s Institutional Review Board. In this research experiment, you will be asked a set of demographic questions and then asked to complete 25 questions focused on drag performance, attitudes, and the relationship with various gender identities or scenarios related to gender identity. This process may take up to twenty minutes of your time.
Your participation in this research project is completely voluntary. You may decline altogether, or skip any questions you do not wish to answer. You may withdraw from the study at any time without any repercussion. If you choose to withdraw from the survey, simply close the survey link, which will lead to the deletion of all previously entered data. Your responses will remain confidential and anonymous. Data from this research will be kept under lock and key and reported only as a collective combined total. No one other than the researchers will know your individual answers to this questionnaire.
