To move our Strategic Plan forward and because we have a finite number of board positions available, we ask interested neighbors to complete a short questionnaire to ensure board membership is a fit for you and the work that lies ahead! Please note this information could be shared with the GPNA board and you may be asked to introduce yourself at an upcoming GPNA meeting before a general vote.

Garfield Park Neighbors Association aims to nurture our neighborhood’s past, present sustainably, and future by organizing resident volunteers and partnering with local officials, services, and organizations to connect neighbors to resources and one another and create a sense of belonging around beautiful Garfield Park.

GPNA board membership requires at least 4 hours of participation per month.  Please list any issues you might have with meeting the following commitments: GPNA General Meetings, 3rd Tuesdays from 6:30 - 7:30 pm; GPNA board meetings, 3rd Tuesdays from 5:30 - 6:30 pm; at least one GPNA committee, weeknights as applicable ~1 hour; additional board meetings or help ~1 hour *
