Please carefully review the following information:
1. It is recommended that I:

b. Take the following MDLP Online Readiness Questionnaire: https://www.mdlp.org/index.php?page=readiness_questionnaire

2.  I understand that I have 18 weeks to complete my MDLP course(s) and that each course takes approximately 90 hours to complete.

3.  I understand that I must maintain adequate progress in my online class in order to avoid being dropped.  Progress is measured by graded tasks applied to an online portfolio.   After 7 days of no progress, MDLP will remind me with a message or email.  After 14 days of no progress I will be dropped from the class.  It is probable that I will need to re-enroll and start again from the beginning if I wish to continue my online class.

4.  I understand that all MDLP courses use checkpoints for academic progress.  This checkpoint process allows time for students to respond to feedback from the teacher and make sure all tasks are complete up to that point before moving on in the course.  If I reach a checkpoint in my online course, I can still access lessons, videos, and downloadable worksheets.  I am encouraged to keep working!  When the checkpoint is cleared by the teacher, I will once again be able to submit work to the portfolio for grading.

5.  I understand my online teacher has 24 hours to respond to my messages or to grade assignments I turn in.

6.  I understand MDLP is a mastery-based program.  I will do and re-do work until it meets learning targets and I will not skip over any assignments or tasks in my portfolio.  Course completion is not allowed and I will not receive a grade or credit until all assignments, quizzes, tests, and the final exam are complete.

7.  I understand that I will not be able to request the final exam until all coursework has been completed.  I also understand that I  must complete the first semester of a yearlong course in order to start the second semester.

8.  I understand that any combination of 7 MDLP and Red Mountain courses can be taken free of charge.  If I sign up for more than 7 courses at any time during the semester, I will be required to pay MDLP $175.00 per course.  Monday, March 25, 2024 is the last day for regular MDLP dual enrollment registration.  Summer course fees apply after this date.  

9. SENIORS ONLY: MDLP courses must be completed by Friday, May 3, 2024 in order to guarantee that your transcript will be finalized in time for May graduation.
