2020-2021 Incoming 6th Grade Elective Choice Sheet
Please fill out the elective choice sheet form for any incoming 6th grade student for the 2020-2021 school year.  If you have multiple students, you must fill out a form for each student.  BIS will always try to honor a student's first request but cannot guarantee that scheduling will allow the preferred elective.  
YOU MUST CHOOSE AN ART ELECTIVE (Band, Art or Choir) AND ALSO A PE ELECTIVE (PE, Pre-Athletics, or Tennis) for your student's schedule.

Fine Art Elective
Student will have one fine art elective for the upcoming school year.  Please rank the three selections by first, second, and third choice.

PE Elective Choices
This year, Bullard ISD plans to offer both a Pre-Athletics option and a dedicated tennis class for BIS as the schedule allows.  These classes will follow the same TEKS as our traditional PE class, but will have a few different expectations and goals.  Bullard Intermediate will still offer it's traditional PE class as always.  

PRE-ATHLETICS:  Students will be expected to dress out in athletic clothes for each class.  Various coaches from the district will use this time to prepare students for 7th grade athletics, and class time will be dedicated to teaching the basic skills, terms, and behavior expectations that students can expect in the BISD athletic program.  

TENNIS:  Students will spend the majority of the year focusing on improving basic tennis skills as they prepare for competitive tennis at the secondary level.
