Thank you for expressing interest in volunteering with Community Conflict Resolution Services of Halton (CCRS Halton). A mediation is a voluntary meeting between the people in conflict and a neutral mediator (us!). A mediator facilitates communication between parties so they can creatively reach a mutually beneficial agreement. A grassroots and volunteer-driven organization, CCRS Halton strives to increase awareness in the community of the benefits of resolving conflict both quickly and peacefully.
We provide free community conflict resolution training as a part of our commitment to build citizen capacity to manage and work through conflict, and also develop customised workshops for organizations and groups in Halton (we charge a nominal fee for customised training programs). As a part of our volunteer application process, kindly provide the following at your earliest convenience:-A recent police check (we require a copy for your file and need to see the original copy)
