40-hour Training Volunteer Application

The Rape Recovery Center (RRC) utilizes volunteers for the Mobile Response and administrative tasks and projects. Our volunteers are extremely valuable to us and to our clients.  The following information explains what volunteering for the RRC involves.Volunteers must be 18 years or older. Our Mobile Response team volunteers are mandated by the state to take the 40-hour advocacy training the Utah Coalition against Sexual Assault (UCASA). We know that this is a large commitment. This class covers all aspects of sexual assault, crisis intervention, medical and legal resources, and victim healing. You will receive a Certificate of Completion as an Advocate for Survivors of Sexual Violence.
