Recruiting Asian-White Interracial Couples for Research Project
My name is Daeshin Hayden Ju and I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Sociology at the Graduate Center, CUNY.

I am conducting a research study on how married/cohabiting Asian-White interracial couples experience race and ethnicity in their everyday lives (IRB#2019-0442). I am interested in studying interracial relationships because I think their experiences illuminate how race and ethnicity are lived today in the US.

If you are in an interracial relationship described above and currently living in the NY-NJ area, I would be honored to meet with you and your partner and talk about your experiences. (Individuals can still take part in this study without their partners).

The interview will be like a casual conversation. I would ask questions about your family, friends, dating and marriage, and parenting (if you have children). It will last approximately 60 to 90 minutes for each partner and will take place at a time and place convenient to you. Your participation will be confidential. After the interview, you have an option to participate in home observations.

If you would like to participate or have any questions about the study, please leave your contact information below or email me at dju@gradcenter.cuny.edu

Thank you for your consideration,
