The only banned theme is predatory behaviour roleplayed during the larp (having been a victim of predatory behaviour as part of your character's backstory is fine). The tone of the larp is realistic, so themes like domestic abuse, sexual abuse, bullying, harassment, bereavement, mental or physical illness, alcohol or drug abuse, religion etc. might arise in the characters' backstories. We will create a list of which heavy themes are present in which character, letting you either avoid playing with that character altogether, or calibrate your play with them out-of-character.

The characters are player-created, so you will need to come up with an idea of a character you'd like to play. It should preferably be a regular person; a somewhat dramatic/traumatic backstory or an eccentric personality is fine (but definitely not mandatory), but you shouldn't be a shape-shifting alien or a world-famous celebrity. If you already have an idea for a character you'd like to play, feel free to describe it here. If not, don't worry -- after the sign-up period we'll give you some optional prompts and there will be still time to come up with something.
